Artistic Statement
With over four decades of experience in the performing arts industry, I am pleased to offer my professional services as a director/producer confident that the skills, knowledge, talent, expertise, and personal character attributes that I possess would significantly enhance the artistic requirements needed to deliver highly-quality, successful, and profitable productions.
Having begun my professional career as a performing artist at age 6, I have had the esteemed opportunity to create, produce, direct, manage, and present countless productions, programs, and projects over the last 40+ years through-out both Canada and Europe. With an amalgamation of artistic sense and administrative/executive prowess, I am a strategic and influential artistic leader who is highly focused, hardworking, creative, and dedicated to enhancing and celebrating the artistic talents and ambitions of each individual artist I have had the good fortune to work with over the span of my illustrious career, while at the same time, developing, designing, and presenting memorable productions that move, inspire, encourage, and enhance the overall audience experience.
As a director/producer, I find inspiration in the beauty of everyday life and the emotions that it can evoke. My work is a direct reflection of my passion for creativity and expression which has allowed me to captivate audiences and offer each guest a glimpse into my unique perspective as a director/producer. My heart has always been focused on the performing arts and working closely with both established professionals and young emerging artists. It is through my creative vision I have been fortunate enough to impact, inspire, motivate, encourage, and support artists to strive to reach their maximum potential.
Under my artistic leadership many artists have fulfilled both their personal and professional goals and aspirations and allowed them the opportunity to further develop and sustain the will power, drive, and determination needed to be a successful contributor to the industry. It has been under this very care, guidance, and nurturing support that I have been recognized for being a trans-formative and at times, life altering director/producer.
Through my inspiration and support of performing artists at all skill levels, ages, and backgrounds I have been a champion of encouragement to not see them waiver from their dreams regardless of any obstacles or barriers that may challenge them along their creative journey. As a director/producer my mission has always been to set a standard of high-quality and professionalism within the studio environment and to ensure that the creative atmosphere I create is open, transparent, inviting, safe, educational, and inspiring. This approach has helped hundreds of artists to build deeper self-confidence, trust, self-esteem, and work ethic within themselves and apply those qualities both within the studio and within their personal lives.
